Privacy policy

1. Who processes your data

The controller of personal data in the Scouted service (the “Service”) available at playscouted.com and in the related mobile apps is the Service operator. Contact for all data matters: orvana.group@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

We process only the data needed to run the game:

  • Account: email address, display nickname and — when signing in with Google — your Google account identifier. Basis: performance of a contract (providing the Service).
  • Game data: your picks, leagues, results and points — that is the core of the Service. Picks are hidden from other players until a match starts, after which they become visible to members of your league.
  • Technical and statistical data: anonymised usage statistics (Google Analytics) used to improve the Service. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Advertising data: if you consent, advertising partners (Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve and personalise ads — see section 5.

3. Where data is stored

The Service uses Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd.) for authentication and the database (EU region). The application runs on servers in the European Union. Google may process some data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous visit statistics (e.g. which screens are used). This data is not used to identify a specific person. You can limit collection in the consent settings or by blocking scripts in your browser.

5. Ads and cookies

The Service may display ads delivered by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Users in the EU will be asked for consent first (you can change it at any time). You can also opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. Your data is visible only to: (a) members of your league — nickname, picks after a match starts, and points; (b) the infrastructure providers named above (Google), to the extent necessary to run the Service.

7. How long we keep data

Account and game data are kept for as long as you have an account. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time — write to orvana.group@gmail.com and we will remove them without undue delay.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data and object, as well as to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. All requests are handled via orvana.group@gmail.com.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. The Service is a free social game — it does not allow betting for money.

10. Changes to this policy

We will announce significant changes to this policy in the Service. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
